The mission of the deacons is to serve the Lord through care of the church by doing the work of benevolence, visiting the sick, being alert to the needs of the congregation, freeing the Pastor to focus on the prayer and ministry of the Word, thus facilitating the spread of the Gospel and promoting unity within the Church.

Responsibilities of our Deacons include:

• Provide spiritual guidance in the event of grief and life struggles
   

• Visit and assist with the need of those sick and shut in
   

• Assist in benevolent situations as they arise
   

• Facilitate the baptism and communion services in collaboration with Pastoral Staff
   

• Serve communion to the sick and shut in (upon request)
   

• Execute the vision and mission of the church and serve the community and the church at-large
